Violence will always be more suggested than shown and that prelude is probably the bloodiest page of the whole comic (that page and the one that explains where that blood come from).
Now, a practical question: should I put a maturity filter? I already saw scenes with more blood than that without a filter, and it's not like the next pages of the comic will have blood, too. I'm asking this because I hate when I'm reading a comic and I stumble in a unnecessary maturity filter, covering something that is not disturbing at all. Besides, my blood looks like ketchup, and I feel a little silly labeling that as "mature content" (DA itself says that the "violence" tag apply just to realistic gore, but that's very subjective in some fandoms).
I can't answer your practical question directly. Do DA advise on what sort of film certificate level they'd expect a mature content warning at? I'd rate this as a "parental advisory", meaning that I might not want Under-8s looking at it without a parent seeing it too.
DA says that they have the "mature content" on violence/gore to hide REALISTIC violence/gore (it even say that it doesn't apply to cartoons, to make things clear). So, as far as DA is concerned, I'm doing it right. I'm worried with the MLP fandom, specifically, as the comic is a MLP fancomic and the fandom seems to have some unspoken rules for maturity filters. No one complained yet, so I guess it's fine to leave the pages like that.
